Oliver brush soap

Olive oil soap for the cleaning and preservation of brushes. Made in Italy by Tintoretto.

Clean your watercolor brushes with natural olive oil soap and cool water. First, create a lather on the brush fibres, rubbing the brush gently back and forth across the soap bar. Then, swirl the soapy brush in the palm of your hand and rinse. Repeat the washing and rinsing process until the waters run clear.

Brushes can benefit from a periodic deep cleaning and conditioning. When pigment particles build up at the base of the brush, it pushes hairs apart and can stop the point from forming. Good care can increase the longevity of your brushes.
