Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.

Each half-pan is packaged with a corresponding color card with color details for your reference on the back.

I really enjoy AG watercolors. Although I primarilly use DS and I don't mix brands, however, I enjoy to have AG pigments handy to explore new things. Keep up the great work! They are expensive but beautifully crafted, highly pigmented and represent cultural heritage, we should learn from and support AG.
