This collection includes a hand tied Traditional mop pocket brush series 1337 by @tintorettobrushes. The synthetic squirrel fiber of this exclusive pocket brush is bound with a golden wire to a tumbled black handle. Cap in matte black.

Handmade watercolor set of twelve individually wrapped half pans in a metal tin with two mixing surfaces and color chart printed on Arches watercolor paper. The Soft Iridescent handmade watercolor set is packaged with original marbled paper by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes inside an elegant gift box Made in Italy.
Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.
The synthetic squirrel fiber in the new 1337, is firmly secured to the tumbled handle thanks to a special bi component glue and the ferrule, which is made out of plastic material and bound with golden wire. This grants not only a high stability but also and most importantly a great water resistance. Cap in matte black.
A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. Pans may contain small imperfections like tiny bubbles and minor blemishes. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is a sign of the human touch that goes into making each and every unique pan!
Half pans present a choking hazard and are not intended for use by children. Please also keep out of reach of pets. A. Gallo Colors are all cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury free.

I love A. Gallo paints and own the full range of their watercolors in half-pans, full pans, and 10ml tubes. When I saw the new Iridescent set was on sale, it was a no-brainer! Once I received the set and swatched the twelve colors, it was plain to see they are certainly up to A. Gallo's normal high standards. While I probably won’t do a painting solely with this set, I’m thinking they’ll be perfect for accenting seascapes and sunsets.
BTW: I just topped off my two Folio travel palettes with a second filling from the 52-color tube set this morning and have still barely put a dent in the tubes. I’ll use them for my planned series of Italian bell towers, some of the iridescent paints may also have to make that trip to Italy. I’ll decide after a few sketches and studies as I prepare for our trip.
These iridescent colours are beautiful. Adding a layer over a dried colour adds a dimension in shimmer that is just gorgeous

These little pans of iridescence are tricky. As in you really, really need to swatch/use on black to see their best potential to literally shine. Take a look at the pics I’ve attached to see for yourself. Then I tried layering with a few opaque and transparent colors on white cold pressed. Stunning. When I initially swatched on white cold pressed, I was not impressed. Then they dried and I got more excited. Then I swatched on black - totally incredible. Then layering. From disappointed to over the top. These are NOT your average mineral pigment paints.
