Illumina collection gift box - Special edition

Inspired by manuscript painting traditions, the Illumina is one of our special edition palettes. The collection comes in a custom nine color gift box and is available on its own or in combination with an artisan cherry wood palette made in collaboration with Tintoretto brushes.

Favorites in this collection include our Lapis lazuli, genuine extra fine, our Eco-friendly malachite and a custom pigment blend and Oro antico, made from a special blend of Raw Siena from Mount Amiata and a warm metallic gold.

We have a new exclusive source for our premium extra fine Lapis lazuli. This exquisite Fra Angelico blue pigment is made by grinding semi-precious lapis lazuli stones into a powder and exacting the purest pigment in small, artisan batches.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.

A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. Pans may contain small imperfections like tiny bubbles and minor blemishes. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is a sign of the human touch that goes into making each and every unique pan!
