A selection of special granulating earth, mineral and plant based pigments. With great attention to detail, these naturale pigments were chosen for their unique atmospheric and organic textures. Elements, divisible into infinitely small pieces without changing their nature, can reveal the nature and complexity of all matter.

Palette highlights include Meteorite brown, made from ground meteorite stones that have fallen to earth as shooting stars. These Chondrites belong to the so-called stone meteorites and are about 4.5 billion years old. Vivianite is a rare blue-gray natural mineral pigment, which is found in organic, phosphate-rich environments, such as peat bogs and clay beds or in crystal form often inside fossil shells or attached to fossil bone. Indigo green is a special dark granulating green made from the precipitation of reseda and indigo plants.
Handmade watercolor set of twelve individually wrapped half pans in a metal tin with two mixing surfaces, a color chart printed on Arches watercolor paper, and an artist grade pocket brush by Tintoretto size 6. The Elements handmade watercolor set is packaged with original marbled paper by a Florentine artisan workshop and comes inside an elegant gift box.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.
A. Gallo Colors are 100% handmade. Pans may contain small imperfections like tiny bubbles and minor blemishes. This does not affect the quality of the paint and is a sign of the human touch that goes into making each and every unique pan!
Half pans present a choking hazard and are not intended for use by children. Please also keep out of reach of pets. A. Gallo Colors are all cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury free.
I was looking forward to the arrival of this palette and the colours were exactly what I was hoping for. I have only swatched the colours so far but they were so easy to wet and the consistency was lovely. I was tempted to biy other colours as they have a beautiful range of colours, but I had my heart set on this set from the moment I saw it. As soon as I had money available, I placed my order and they were here faster than I had expected.
This is my first purchase from the company and the presentation is so lovely. Customer service are quick to respond and altogether I had a wonderful experience. Would definitely purchase again or recommend this brand and this palette to anyone looking for high quality watercolours.

Love the unique colours…. give an atmospheric feel to what I paint!
Firstly the presentation is like no other, double wrapped and boxed with a dot sample to try and a brush with a lovely point and snap. It’s like receiving a gift.
The customer service is excellent. …and the paints are so buttery and gorgeous with generously filled pans. This is my first A. Gallo set. Not colours I would normally go for but something drew me to them. The chosen colours are so well curated.
The Potter’s Pink is a surprise, usually quite lacklustre in other brands but this one is saturated, a beautiful dusty pink. Zirconium Blue and Viviante are also dazzling as is the Green Earth cool. Sartorio red is the perfect fox fur. Tourmaline is a lively grey and Meterorite Brown, well, you are painting with stars (literally shooting stars/meteorites!).
My only complaint, if you can call it that, is I will see quite a few of my dollars invested in this brand as I am already salivating over my next set to buy!
The Elements set is a perfect collection of colours for winter botanical painting, as well as portraits. Is already becoming a very well used set. Beautiful granulation too.
