Now available in full pan size! Burnt umber, dark is a deep, dark, warm brown. Beautiful single pigment substitute for sepia blends. Basic color for landscape painting. Mixed with quinacridone rose it is an interesting alternative to some Alizarin crimson hues. Made from calcinated natural earth pigment from Cyprus.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.

Each pan is packaged with a corresponding color card with color details for your reference on the back.
