Sodalite, PB15, PY43, PW4 | Excellent lightfastness | Semi-opaque
Azurite is a historical blue made from natural carbonate of copper. Our Azurite hue is made from a base of fine Sodalite mineral pigment, a blend of contemporary blue pigments and raw Sienna. This innovative hue does not contain copper, which can be corrosive and hazardous, yet we have maintained a noble mineral base.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.
Each half-pan is packaged with a corresponding color card with color details for your reference on the back.
