The Plein air set is a selection of six colors, designed for mixing natural, yet intense, foliage, skies, shadows, rocks, fields and water. Perfect for outdoor sketching, the set includes an earthy triad and three intense hues suited for landscape.

Handmade in Italy, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic from the acacia tree, local honey and rosemary essential oil.

Brilliant colors, A Gallo quality

Of course if A Gallo has something new I must try it. When I learned of the tubes the USA distributor was closed for the holidays. I had to wait to order. Finally it was time and the paints came quickly. Creamy texture and rich colors. Love the new form to my all time favorite paint.
