Green Palette - Handmade watercolor set

Some favorite blends include, Fig green (PY151, PG17), a color inspired by the color of young Mediterranean figs.

Our Sap green (PY83, PG36, PV19, PR101) is a convenience green with a natural tone: it has the intrigue of a hand mixed green, perfect for foliage.

Olive green deep (PY154, PY110, PB29) is a dark, granulating variation on Olive green. A natural mixed green with interesting two-tone separation in washes.

Dark forest (PG7, PBk7, PY43) is a green neutral tone made from a blend of three pigments. It exhibits an almost black mass tone, and is a beautiful dark green in washes. Similar to Perylene green, Dark forest is perfect for delineating shadows or creating moody landscapes, ominous horizons and stormy seas.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.
