Now available in full pan size! Pyrrole orange is a non-toxic alternative to Cadmium orange. It has similar opacity and is lightly cooler than Cadmium orange. This clear, dark, red-leaning orange is vivid and warm. Add a touch of this color to Phthalo blue in seascapes or mix with granulating greens or blues to create earth tones and warm shadow-grays with texture.

Made by hand in Assisi, our watercolors are crafted according to a traditional recipe of raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, rosemary essential oil and a wetting agent. This artisanal process creates a very pigmented and luminous paint that activates beautifully when wet.

Half pans and full pans are packaged with a corresponding color card with color details for your reference on the back.
